Nip and Fab Make Up Review

Nip and fab swatches
If you haven't heard about this exciting new release by now, you've probably been living under a rock. And I can confirm that the hype is real, Nip + Fab have really killed the make up game with the new additions to their family, #NIPANDFABMU.
I've been using these products for a couple of months now and I'm already starting to hit pan on one of the highlighters, which really speaks volumes because I rarely get half way through a product, never mind hitting pan after two month!

The highlighter palette has to be my favourite, the first 4 shades work on my skin and I'm quite pale! In fact, they're the only highlighters I've used or the past few month - I've been plastering these blinding babes all over my cheekbones, cupids bow, brow bone and inner corner. These are not for the faint hearted, they're gonna make you glow, like, really glow.

I was extremely surprised at how much I liked the foundation. I am extremely picky with foundations and always use high end, I hadn't heard anything about it either so I had no idea what I was going to be putting on my face. I loved this after just the first use, it is a match made in heaven for my combination skin. (My mum also loves it!) Do not let the unusual packaging put you off, because what's inside is some medium matteish magic. So the foundation comes in at a very unexpected second place.

Then we have the contour palette, I have the shade selection light and I think it's a perfect dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. There's 2 matte highlights, 1 shimmery highlight that's very subtle, an ashy shade for chiseling those cheeks and two warmer shades which I use to bronze up. I really cannot fault this, it truly is exactly the same as the ABH, and half the price. And actually, the packaging is a whole lot better!

I got two of the concealers in colour correcting shades, so I would really like to try the regular shades because if they're anything like these- they're gonna be some good ass concealer. The green shade cancels out redness (sunburn right now,) really well and doesn't interfere with my other base products at all. The yellow shade really does make a difference to my under eyes, I don't have bags but I am a victim of insomnia and things get reaaaaal dark down there. I hate baking my under eyes because it gets so dry, so for me this is the only way of really brightening up.

The formula of the liquid lipstick reminds me entirely of the NYX Lip Lingerie, if you know, you know. They don't feel matte, but they look matte. But it's not that horrible kind of matte that has your lips peeling and cracking, it's sort of a gloss/lipstick hybrid feeling. There's a bit of tack, but not in a really bad way. I feel like you're going to love them or hate them, and you should probably swatch if you can before you buy.

These products have given me great expectations for the other products in the line, I can't wait to go out and buy the rest of it! There's certainly no need to be hesitant about buying into this new line from a skincare brand - they've got it SO right the first time.
*These products were sent to me by N+F, but opinions are all, and always mine*
