Worth The Hype? ABH Dipbrow Pomade

A conclusion first, sort of. This product, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade (£15.00.) is hyped up a lot, and as great as it is, it still has it's flaws, so I wouldn't totally agree that it is actually all it's hyped up to be.

  • Really good colour range
  • Great staying power
  • A little goes a long way
  • Sleek packaging
  • Not too expensive
  • Does not look cakey
  • If you smudge it, you're doomed
  • Very hard to use with a larger brush, a tiny brow brush needs to be used
  • Very thick to apply, making a 'gradient' brow very hard to achieve
I recently produced a post talking about a brow mousse from Tarte and now that I have had both, I think over all I prefer Tarte's option, the only thing they're not winning is the choice of colours available. Both are equally difficult to get your mitts on here in the UK.

So if you're looking for a new brow product and you're thinking about Dipbrow Pomade, I'd say pay the extra money for the Tarte Brow Mousse.
