ZOELLA BEAUTY 'SNOWELLA' - 2017 GIFTING COLLECTION REVIEW

Zoella Beauty 2017 Christmas Gifting Bath Teabags Brew Me A Bath Bath Milk Powder
Oops, I did it again. I couldn't resist yet another new release from the Zoella beauty brand, I recently reviewed the Jelly and Gelato range (read that here.) I vowed I wouldn't spend more money on Zoella products because I feel too old, but when I saw the packaging of the Christmas gifting collection for this year- I couldn't deny myself the aesthetic pleasure. (And now I want the entire collection.) It isn't 'officially,' out on the shelves yet, but I found that on the Superdrug site if you search for a specific product you can actually buy them all, I've linked all of the products at the bottom of this post.

Zoella Beauty 2017 Christmas Gifting Bath Teabags Brew Me A Bath Bath Milk Powder
The Brew Me A Bath bath teabags and Splash Of Milk bath milk powder were first on my hit list because I adored the bath milk powder from the Jelly and Gelato collection, and who doesn't want a bath teabag?! Very fun.

The Splash Of Milk bath milk powder sachets are without a doubt my favourite product, you simply tear one open and sprinkle the powder under your hot running water. The powder creates some bubbles but it mainly makes your water look and feel 'milky,' and very moisturising. That's why I love this product so much, I have very dry skin on my body that needs slathering with lotion as soon as I jump out of the tub, but when I use this my body feels so much more nourished and soft, and I don't feel an immediate need to moisture. The scent is subtle, but certainly reminds me of winter! Top tip: Once you've used up a sachet, put it in your underwear drawer for a boost of freshness. The only downside to these is that you really don't get many sachets, and when you really love a product it's hard to make them last.

The Brew Me A Bath bath teabags don't have such an impact, but the whole concept is really unique and I love sitting with one of these under my tap. The teabags do genuinely look like real tea bags, but filled with a pink powder and embossed with a Z on the tag. Again, you hold your teabag and let the running water hit it, and the pink powder inside slowly dissolves and creates bubbles and a hint of moisture to your water. The scent of the tea bag is very strong, but once the contents runs into your water it kind of disappears completely, which is a shame because I adore this collections Wintery, fresh scent. However, you do receive a very generous amount of the bath teabags compared to Splash Of Milk powders.

The "I'm Dreaming Of A Bath Filled With Bubbles" set includes a mini Snow Bubbly bubble bath, a medium, but not full sized Snow Silky body lotion, a pair of pink exfoliating scrub gloves and a fluffy white bow hairband.

Starting with my favourite, the Snow Silky body lotion really pleasantly surprised me and I'm now desperate for a full size because I really don't want to run out of this! This body lotion is unlike any other I've tried, the best way I can describe it is by comparing it to the texture of a make up primer, think Smashbox Photo Finish but a lot thinner. The scent isn't quite strong enough for my liking, with Jelly and Gelato the scent from the body lotion lingered on my skin for hours after application- but unfortunately this scent is only noticeable if you really put your nose to your skin. (I wish it was the other way around, because I much prefer this scent!) However, I do love the consistency of the lotion and it provides really nice hydration that soaks in very quickly.

I used the scrub gloves in this set to remove my fake tan, and they did so very easily! The fluffy white bow headband was perfect for pushing all of my hair back to do my full skincare routine and scrubbing my face with coffee scrub without getting it in my roots. I would usually pay £5 for a pair of scrub gloves, so paying £15 and getting three other gorgeous products was the favourable option.

Finally, the mini Snow Bubbly bubble bath which I'll admit I was a bit underwhelmed with because of just how mini it is. I used as little as I could to create a decent amount of bubbles, and that ended up being 3 squeezes of the bottle. (Little squeezes, but still.) However, I found that this bubble bath did make my bath water feel a little silky like and not so harsh. My legs definitely felt smoother than they would usually and the fragrance didn't irritate my sensitive skin.

Over all, I really like this collection and I cannot wait to try some more. The fragrance really does remind me of a crisp, fresh Winter and I would definitely buy the Snowella perfume in this range after falling in love with these products, I don't care how old I am cause it smells so fricking good and uplifting. The fragrance is a combination of extracts of softening Peony, Winter Cranberry and soothing Mint - which smells a lot better than it sounds. Zoe has nailed the Winter vibes with this.
