too faced highlighter, too faced candlelight glow, urban decay bronzer, beached bronzer, kat von d liquid lipstick, kat von d bow and arrow, kat von d eye primer, eyeshadow primer,
Coming at you with another haul and first impressions- my favourite type of post to write, and there's still one more to come. Also, side note, hope you all like the new layout I've got going on and my new "logo," it took so much work that really battered my brains. If I see HTML again I think I'll die. Anyway, on with what I got from debenhams and how things went.

I wasn't that excited about Kat Von D launching in the U.K, things I got from Sephora in the past really underwhelmed me. However I am a sucker for nude liquid lipsticks, so I purchased my first Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Bow & Arrow. There's really no other colours in the collection I like so this is my one and only. I don't have a bad thing to say about this, I've been wearing it in my past few Instagrams and my Twitter avatar- it's a little bit darker than I hoped but I can still make it work when I really bronze up. Pigmentation, comfort, wear time, application? 10/10 all around from me.

The other thing from KVD was the Lock It Eye Primer, I've only ever tried NARS and Urban Decay eye primers over the years so it was really exciting to be finally using something different! These eye primers are in a wind up stick like a lip liner but a lot thicker.- and that's what really attracted me to this because I don't know any other eye primer that's in this style. Unlike others this is also available in skin shades, (I got fair,) because it's supposed to colour correct. It would work great if you didn't want to wear eyeshadow but wanted to make all your veins or uneven tone. The bottom of the stick pops out as a sharpener, but I think this is much better and easier to use rounded, Y'know like once you've used it once and the fresh point is worn down? It's so much better that way.

It feels like forever since I got a new highlight, but here I went back to an old favourite. The Too Faced Candlelight Glow powder was the first highlighter I ever used, I was 15 and "glowing to the gods," wasn't a thing. I ran out years ago and ever since I've been meaning to repurchase but there's always been a new release like the Glow Kits that took priority. I am so fucking happy to have this highlight back in my life, it's so under rated and I don't see anyone talk about it, and they should be because it could kill a bitch. This powder is so silky and builds up amazingly, meaning you can have a soft glow or an intense blinding highlight.

Last thing I got was the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer. Buying a bronzer can be a scary,  long and painful process when your skin is literally white. I did a LOT of google image searching for swatches but if I'm honest, the packaging of this is what made it the winner. It wasn't even the nicest shade but, priorities and that. For me this is a tiny little bit too orange, but it's still useable for now. The powder it's self is incredibly smooth, it's actually quite a sheer wash of colour that you can build up. The pigmentation and longevity of this is 100% better than the Soap and Glory bronzer I was using prior to this.
